Rock Star ter Putte is the new star of Karel Cox Stallions. The 6-year-old Vagabond de la Pomme son impresses with his limitless scope, push from the floor, quality and mentality. In the Belgian stallion competition, Rock Star ter Putte convinced time and time again, finishing 2nd in Opglabbeek and 3rd in Lier.
Rock Star ter Putte is sired by Vagabond de la Pomme, the Vigo d’Arsouilles son who was among world’s very best for many years. Dam Lady-A ter Putte herself jumped successfully in sport up to 1.45m-level and is already dam of several talented showjumpers and approved stallions. In addition, Lady-A ter Putte is the full sister of the famous stallions Elvis ter Putte and Favorit Ask, both of whom have made their mark in breeding. Granddam Ukase ter Putte also produced the CSI5* Grand Prix showjumper Isaura, who was successful at the highest level with Pieter Devos and Cameron Hanley. In the third generation, Rock Star ter Putte goes back to the famous mare Quinette ter Putte, who in her turn produced the famous showjumper Skyhorse. Ridden by Lillie Keenan, Skyhorse was among the most successful jumpers in the United States.
Rock Star ter Putte himself jumped very successfully in both the young horse cycles and the Belgian stallion competitions. As a 5-year-old, Rock Star ter Putte finished clear in almost all the courses he jumped, and as a six6year-old he immediately started off strong in the stallion competition. In Lier, he finished in a convincing 3rd place and in Opglabbeek Rock Star ter Putte even came 2nd. Rock Star ter Putte lives up to his name and shows off unlimited scope, combined with technique, reflexes and excellent rideability.
