Like Ermitage WS KCX unites the very best genes of the moment and was himself already one of the most striking stallions of the 2024 KWPN Stallion Show. Like Ermitage WS KCX is a son of the now world-famous Ermitage Kalone out of the same dam as CSI5* Grand Prix winner Like A Diamond van ‘t Schaeck.
With his beautiful type, light-footedness and charisma, Like Ermitage WS KCX is the textbook example of a modern stallion. In addition, he has excellent reflexes, the exceptional overview of sire Ermitage Kalone and enormous athletic ability. At the KWPN Stallion Show, Like Ermitage WS KCX convincingly earned an invitation for the KWPN Performance Test and from Studbook Zangersheide the appealing stallion already received his approval.
Sire Ermitage Kalone is the most talked-about stallion of the moment and, ridden by Gilles Thomas, jumped spectacularly to the Belgian championship title in 2023. Subsequently, Ermitage Kalone debuted double clear in his first CSI5* Grand Prix and his offspring are also standing out very positively.

Dam Cacacha van ‘t Schaeck herself jumped up to 1.60m level and is dam of the well-known Like A Diamond van ‘t Schaeck. With Marlon Zanotelli, Like A Diamond won, among others, the Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Paris, was on the podium in Samorin and Rome and competed at the World Championships in Herning in 2022. Like Ermitage WS KCX’s granddam Fortis Fortuna jumped with Daniel Coyle to many successes up to 1.60m level and produced several Grand Prix showjumping horses. The most famous is the exceptionally talented H5 Just The Music of Mexico’s Carlos Hank Guerreiro and also the highly competitive Sea Coast B52 F Z of Gudrun Patteet. Third dam Coco van ‘t Laerhof Z in turn produced E-Muze Yek, who jumped at the very highest level with multiple riders. Next, Like Ermitage WS KCX’s damline goes back to the mare Lhasa, making him closely related to top horses such as Funky Music, El Torreo de Muze, Quarts-Musik, Krapuul F, Bretling du Paradis Z, Esprit d’Intro Z and many more.
